From day one, we knew we didn’t want to be just another brand. To be around for the long haul, we had to build our brand with purpose. And, for our brands to have a purpose, we had to have one. So, we built this organization in the only way we felt was right, by contributing 10% of profit to transformative initiatives that positively impact our communities, planet and society as a whole.

OUR STORY
Since 1996
Rolling Blunts® became popular in youth culture in the late 70’s. The culture adopted a simpler way to roll marijuana. A cheap hollowed out cigar known as the “Phillies Blunt” was the preferred method at the time. Amazingly, this new easy way to roll a blunt practically anywhere became the go to way to roll on the fly.
Hip hop was hitting the scene. And then we can’t forget the famous photograph of “The Notorious B.I.G.”rolling a blunt. That one photograph was very impactful in the movement. Hip hop artist’s near and far are known for rolling and smoking an insane amount of bud, adopted the term Blunt. They started rapping about Rolling Blunts ever since in like 400 songs that mention “Rolling Blunts”. It’s a major part of their lifestyle and ours.
So, to make a very long story short. I was at a gas station on a Friday night in downtown Miami during the Summer of 1996. Some kids pulled up in blasting music typical Friday night. As I go inside to get my change, I hear “two Phillies Blunts please”. I really thought nothing of it as I had smoked a blunt earlier. But while I was walking back to my truck, I noticed 3 little piles of tobacco on the pavement at three different pumps. The light bulb went off!!
I thought “why doesn’t someone just sell the tobacco leaf pre-cut so it’s ready to roll”??
Established 1996 Rolling Blunts has had its challenges and successes. You could say we were way ahead of our time. Through a lot of trials and tribulations, what kept the dream alive is the response I see in every customer. Regardless of the Rolling Blunt ® product I see consumer buy, the emotional response is always the same. Magical in a sense… Big smiles, great vibes and feeling happy!
